Atlas Circuit and Mount Toubkal Ascent
Pre-trek: Marrakech - Imlil
Your adventure in the Atlas Mountains begins with a collection from your hotel in Marrakech. You'll be transferred to the Dar Imlil, where you can enjoy some mint tea at the panoramic rooftop while taking in the stunning views of Toubkal peak and the entire valley.
After checking in, you'll set off for an acclimatisation trek around the valley, which will take you through Berber villages and past waterfalls. You will have lunch at the Berber House, where you can sample some delicious local cuisine and get a taste of the local culture. After lunch, you'll return to Dar Imlil, where you'll spend the night. This is a great chance to rest and relax before setting off on your trek in the Atlas Mountains.
Day 01: Imlil (1,775m) - Tizi n Likmet (3,550m) - Azib Likemt (2,623m)
After an early breakfast at the Dar Imlil, you'll be transferred to Fousarou, where you'll begin your trek up towards Tizi n Likemt. The hike up to Tizi n Likemt will take you through breathtaking landscapes and stunning vistas. You'll cross rivers, pass through Berber villages, and see local wildlife along the way. As you ascend higher, you'll start to feel the altitude, so take your time and enjoy the scenery. Once you reach Tizi n Likemt, you'll begin your descent towards Azib Likemt, where your camp will be set up for the night.
Day 02: Azib Likemt (2,623m) - Tizi Nβourai (3,100m) - Amsouzart (1,792m)
After breakfast you will begin your trek up along Assif Nourai, which is known for its beautiful, and stunning landscapes. As you hike up, you will enjoy the breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains and the Berber villages scattered throughout the valley.
As you reach Tizi Nourai, you will be rewarded with even more stunning views over the surrounding peaks and valleys. From here, you will start your descent towards Amsouzart village, located at the heart of Tifnout valley. You will spend the night at a guesthouse in Amsouzart, where you can rest and relax after a long day of trekking.
Day 03: Amsouzart (1,792m) - Ifni lake (2,295m)
After breakfast at the guesthouse in Amsouzart, you will have some free time to explore the valley and immerse yourself in the Berber culture. You can take a walk around the village and meet the locals, learn about their daily lives and customs. After lunch, you will continue your trek towards Ifni Lake, one of the most beautiful and serene spots in the High Atlas Mountains. The trek takes you through Imhilne village, where you can stop for a break and enjoy the stunning views over the valley.
As you approach Ifni Lake, you will be awe-struck by its pristine blue waters and the breathtaking vistas of the surrounding foothills of Jebel Toubkal. You will spend the night at a campsite near the lake, where you can relax and soak in the peaceful atmosphere of this stunning natural wonder.
Day 04: Ifni lake (2,295m) - Tizi Ouano Umss (3,664m) - Toubkal Hut (3,207m)
After an early breakfast at the campsite near Ifni Lake, you will begin your trek towards Tizi Ouano Umss, one of the most challenging trails in the Toubkal Massif. The trek will take you up along the river, following a winding mule path that gradually gains elevation. As you ascend higher, the terrain will become steeper and more rugged, but the stunning views over the surrounding peaks and valleys will make the effort worthwhile.You will reach Tizi Ouanoumss, the pass that marks the highest point of your trek. Here, you can take a short break and enjoy the panoramic views over the mountains and valleys.
After the break, you will begin your descent towards Toubkal Base Camp, where you will spend the night at Toubkal Hut. You can also enjoy a hot meal and a good night's rest at Toubkal Hut, before continuing your trek towards the summit of Jebel Toubkal the following day.
Day 05: Toubkal Hut (3,207m) - Toubkal summit (4,167m) β Imlil (1,775m)
Today is an early start with breakfast at 0400 am. It is also the start of the Mount Toubkal ascent of the highest peak in North Africa Jebel Toubkal with the altitude of 4,167m above sea level. Following a tiny trail and a progressive walk until Tizi n Toubkal, this will be the first time you will see the Toubkal summit triangle. Walking through the Mountain ridge to reach the plateau where Mount Toubkal summit is waiting for you. Enjoy the breathtaking views over the valleys and High Atlas Mountain peaks.
After a short break, you will start the descent back down the Mountain stopping at Toubkal Hut for lunch and following the mule path down to Imlil valley. Returning to Dar Imlil.
Post-trek: Imlil β Marrakech
After breakfast, transfer back to Marrakech.
Departure
A driver will collect you from your hotel around 3 hours before your departing flight and transfer you to Marrakech Menara international Airport, ensuring that you arrive there at least 2 hours before your flight departs. Please let us know if you'd like to be collected earlier.

You will be collected from your Riad in Marrakesh at 0800 and transferred through the foothills of the High Atlas β passing traditional Berber market towns and the spectacular Moulay Brahim gorge β to the village of Imlil (1,740m). Here you will meet your mountain guide, who will brief you on the days ahead and check your equipment. Rental gear is available in Imlil village centre if required.
Starting your day early in Marrakech, you'll wind your way up through the Moulay Brahim Gorge and the upper valleys, taking in the stunning scenery along the way. As you arrive at the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains, you'll meet up with your Berber muleteer crew who will accompany you on your trek.
