Pre-trek: Airport โ Marrakech

Day 1 โ Marrakech โ Aroumd
- Early pickup from your Marrakech hotel.
- Transfer by vehicle to the serene village of Aroumd, nestled in the foothills of the High Atlas.
- Enjoy a freshly prepared lunch at a traditional Berber house, with stunning views of the mountains stretching ahead.
- Optional acclimatization excursion: a peaceful hike to a scenic waterfallโthe perfect warm-up and opportunity to immerse yourself in the landscape.
- Overnight stays in a charming guest house or traditional riad in Aroumd.
Day 2: Aroumd โ Toubkal Refuge
- Breakfast at your riad, energizing you for the trek ahead.
- Embark on a 5โ7 hour trek through beautiful, rugged terrain, ascending to the hut at 3,206 m.
- Overnight in a shared dormitory hutโboth cozy and communal, ideal for resting before the summit push.
Day 3: Toubkal Refuge โ Toubkal Summit โ Toubkal Refuge
- Summit day! Begin your ascent early toward the summit of Mount Toubkal (4,167 m), absorbing panoramic vistas and the exhilaration of reaching North Africaโs highest point.
- After the summit, retrace your steps to the Toubkal Refuge at 3,206 m for a well-earned evening of rest and reflection.
Day 4: Toubkal Refuge โ Imlil
- Complete the descent from the refuge down to Imlil, enjoying rewarding views and a sense of accomplishment.
Imlil โ Marrakech
- From Imlil, transfer by vehicle back to Marrakech.
- No services included for your stay tonightโplease arrange your own hotel (or riad) booking in Marrakech if needed.
Post-trek: Marrakech โ Airport
- Own transfer to Marrakech Airport for your departureโno services included on this day.

You will be collected from your Riad in Marrakesh at 0800 and transferred through the foothills of the High Atlas โ passing traditional Berber market towns and the spectacular Moulay Brahim gorge โ to the village of Imlil (1,740m). Here you will meet your mountain guide, who will brief you on the days ahead and check your equipment. Rental gear is available in Imlil village centre if required.
Starting your day early in Marrakech, you'll wind your way up through the Moulay Brahim Gorge and the upper valleys, taking in the stunning scenery along the way. As you arrive at the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains, you'll meet up with your Berber muleteer crew who will accompany you on your trek.
