Day trip to Imlil
Embark on a captivating day trip starting early in the morning after breakfast. Your driver will pick you up from your hotel in Marrakech and take you to Imlil, passing through charming Berber towns like Tahnawt and Asni. In Tahnawt, there's an optional visit to the Argan oil cooperative, where you can savour a cup of tea while a guide enlightens you about the Argan nut. Afterward, enjoy a scenic one-hour drive to Imlil, the starting point for a hiking adventure through various Berber villages and stunning waterfalls.
A delightful lunch awaits you in a Berber family house, surrounded by picturesque views of Toubkal mountains. Post-lunch, descend to Imlil through enchanting villages, where your driver will be ready to pick you up. From Imlil, head to the Agafay rocky desert for a memorable Camel Ride experience. Conclude your day with a comfortable transfer back to Marrakech, completing approximately 1:30 hours of driving to Imlil, 1:30 hours of driving back to Marrakech, and a rewarding 3-hour walking exploration.

Following this, we'll continue our exploration with a visit to the splendid and ancient Bahia Palace, known for its architectural grandeur.
Next on our itinerary is a visit to one of Morocco's oldest mosques, a structure that has stood for over 12 centuries. After immersing ourselves in the historical and cultural richness, we'll head to the Nomad restaurant for a delightful lunch experience. Post-lunch, you have the opportunity to explore the vibrant markets of Marrakech.

You will be collected from your Riad in Marrakesh at 0800 and transferred through the foothills of the High Atlas β passing traditional Berber market towns and the spectacular Moulay Brahim gorge β to the village of Imlil (1,740m). Here you will meet your mountain guide, who will brief you on the days ahead and check your equipment. Rental gear is available in Imlil village centre if required.
Starting your day early in Marrakech, you'll wind your way up through the Moulay Brahim Gorge and the upper valleys, taking in the stunning scenery along the way. As you arrive at the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains, you'll meet up with your Berber muleteer crew who will accompany you on your trek.
